| |  Does God exist? This is an age-old question that has been debated for thousands of years. We can examine this question from a variety of philosophical, theological or scientific viewpoints, but for the sake of time, we are going to examine some of the major evidence for God that is easy to understand. My name is Andrew Smellie, and I serve the minister for the Central New York Church of Christ here in Syracuse, NY. Just to give you a little background about myself, I graduated from pre-medical program at Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology and completed a Masters degree in Health Administration at Cornell before God called me into the ministry. This month I have been given the opportunity by the SWAT group here at OCC to provide logical, scientific and practical proof of the existence of God, the validity of the Bible and the claim that Jesus is the Son of God. Today we are going to examine the evidence for God, and allow you to make a decision or a verdict. Kind of like a jury. The question is whether God exists, or whether you are an accident. | | The purpose of a “wiki” format is to gain a collaborative effort in building our site. Right now we are eager to gather qualified content providers. If you have any original articles (with references) about God, Jesus, The Bible, Archeology, The DaVinci? Code, Evolution vs. Intelligent Design, or Other Religions, you can submit them on our website starting Sunday, August 19th, 2007. There is a link to “Join our Team” below where you can submit any comments or articles for me to review and add to the site!

| | Here’s how it works. There are going to be two types of users on this site:
| - ) Visitors surfing the site, who can send comments and suggestions on the articles to me at the "Join our Team" section. Once validated, I can use that information to start new pages and links. This format and flexibility is known as “wiki”;
- ) The Content Management Team, who serve by adding articles and content to the site. This team will continue to grow as those who actively surf the site and provide legitimate comments will be asked to join.
My role as the Cyberevangelist will be to direct the operations of the site, write and oversee the legitimacy of the articles and review the comments given by those surfing the site to begin new pages and areas of interest.
